Virginia joined Violet Dance Association in 1995 and was trained in Chinese dance, where she was then introduced to contemporary dance and started the training and creation of it. She is currently the dance instructor and director of Violet Dance Company. Throughout her time in Violet, she has participated in numerous shows and workshops, and also been to various locations worldwide such as Poland, Shanghai, etc. for dance exchange programs and performances. The experience has given her a chance to explore a new dimension of dance choreography and be inspired with new creation angles by using body movement to communicate and express one’s feeling. The idea was then incorporated into the creation work of dance theater “I and Me” and the dance piece “Memory” which was presented in dance theater “i..…”.

黃樂曦 Cecilia Wong
Cecilia has been loving Chinese dance since young, and has joined the big family of Violet since 2000. In the past, she was being brought to the dancing class by her mum during every weekends, but now she has turned to be a dancing teacher. This process feels so incredible to her. Time practicing in the dancing room has always been great, but performing on stage is the best of all to her. She has been participating in different kinds of performance. To her, each performance helps to develop herself and to gain more to make a progress. She wishes that her passion in dancing can influence others so that everyone can fall in love with it and can dance out their own ideal life.
